Public transport:

Take the S1 train from Floridsdorf via Gänserndorf or the regional train from Vienna Central Station via Stadlau to Marchegg, then the free shuttle bus to the Lower Austria State Exhibition.

Advantage: Show your public transport ticket at the ticket office. Admission to the Lower Austria State Exhibition is only € 9.00 if you get there by public transport.


By car:

Marchegg is about one hour away from Vienna: you can drive from

  • Floridsdorf, via Deutsch-Wagram and Gänserndorf to Marchegg.
  • Coming from Breitenlee or Aspern, it is best to drive via Gross-Enzersdorf and Engelhartstetten
  • or via Raasdorf, Leopoldsdorf im Marchfelde and Lassee to Marchegg.

Coming from Bratislava: follow the B9 via Hainburg an der Donau and the B49 to Marchegg.

Coming from Schwechat: follow the B9 and then cross the Hainburg bridge to get onto the B49, which leads directly to Marchegg.

Coming from St. Pölten: take the S1 exit 40-Seyring and drive to Marchegg via Deutsch-Wagram and Gänserndorf.

Coming from Wr. Neustadt: on the A4, take the exit 19-Fischamend and follow the B9 and B49 to Marchegg.

Coming from Mistelbach: follow the B40 to Dürnkrut, then take the B49, which leads to Marchegg.

Parking is available directly at Marchegg Palace.
